Executive Research Program (ERP 2021-22) on Advanced Materials and Devices
   We welcome enthusiastic and talented students to join our research and technology projects through Executive Research Program (ERP) on Advanced Functional Material Composites based Devices. We help you achieve your dreams in research profession through intense training by our experienced researchers. The opportunity we provide is dedicated to those who are strongly interested in learning and having hands-on work experience in their preferred area of interest. In the last batch (2020-2021), our training helped many young students to be successfully placed across Europe, Korea, Taiwan, and India for PhD programme. The placement depends mainly on your enthusiasm and hard work to efficiently perform the projects and work we assign to you.

Theme of the Program:
   The executive research program is mainly dedicated to motivating and equipping young minds to cope with current challenges in the field of semiconducting materials, functional composite materials, nanostructures engineering, optoelectronic applications, nano-bio-photonics, micro/nano-device fabrication, IoT devices, miniaturized devices and printable/flexible devices. The program will be executed as Advanced Training, Short Training and Internships.

Advanced Training
   Advanced Training is a minimum one-year research program with special focus on technologically significant research topics organized in a systematic course module. Those who are enrolled will be mentored by at least three experienced researchers from India and abroad. The program includes lectures, course materials, brain storming sessions, evaluation, literature survey and reviews, research proposal preparation, hands on experience, collaborative visits, projects and dissertation/thesis, scientific communication/publications/patents. The successful advanced trainee will be awarded with Executive Advanced Research Training Certificate. The meritorious candidates with excellent grade points and research outcomes will gain work Experience Certificate as equivalent to junior research employee.

Short Training
  Short Training programs are from six-months to maximum one year research program with special focus on technologically significant research topics organized in a systematic course module. The enrolled candidates will be mentored by three experienced researchers from India and abroad. The course includes lectures/course materials/intellectual meetings and evaluation, literature survey and reviews, research proposals, hands on experience, projects, and reports. The successful short trainee will be awarded with Executive Short-term Research Training Certificate.

Internships
  Internships are programs from one week to six months that will facilitate candidates to be exposed to various theoretical and laboratory experiments. The successful intern will be awarded with Internship Certificate.

Requirements:

Demonstrated aptitude and experience in computer skills including use and understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access

Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment

Effective interpersonal communication skills: ability to communicate clearly with various personnel to share/ gather information

Effective time management skills to meet deadlines on multiple tasks and projects

Professional and positive attitude

Willingness to work hard and with dedication

What are the Essential Responsibilities?

Problem definition, research, data collection, analysis to determine best processes and methods for problem-solving.

Regular and clear communication with supervisors, internal and external team members on status of assigned project(s).

Participate in a classroom setting, group meetings and/ or one-on-one training to learn various techniques and functionalities.

Present project information at the culmination of the internship to communicate research, findings, analysis, and any recommendations.

WHEN can you join in ERP?
   Our Training program is open all year long. Internships will be announced. Seats are limited, and applications will be screened.

Program Fees:
   The Executive Research program have different fee structure based on the training program opted with specific terms and conditions. Program fee will consist of Tuition fees, Laboratory fees, Maintenance fees, Development fees, social service fees, etc including GST. Fees can be paid in a single-shot or in instalments. Fees should not be a hindrance to quench your thirst for research and career excellence. If you are willing to work with dedication and determination in chasing your dreams through the ERP program, you have an interest option. Internal Job opportunities:
  Internal jobs are organized as work packages based on the nature and execution aspects for candidates who have enrolled in ERP. The registered candidates will be offered based on interview process.
